The Problems We Set Out to Solve
AIS did not begin with a finished product concept.
It began with a series of small problems that kept recurring in everyday work with AI.
Over time, it became clear that these problems did not require a single feature. They required a fundamentally different way of working.
That is how AIS gradually came into being.
Information Was Getting Lost
Important insights disappeared into individual chats.
After only a few days or weeks, they became difficult to find—or remained available without the context needed to understand them.
The Same Context Had to Be Explained Again and Again
Every new conversation started almost from scratch.
Documents, background information, and previous decisions had to be explained repeatedly.
Knowledge Was Scattered Across Different Tools
- Documents were stored in one place.
- Notes in another.
- Tasks in a separate application.
- Chats somewhere else entirely.
Yet all of that information belonged to the same topic.
Projects Became Administrative Work
Many applications require folders, categories, forms, and predefined structures before any real work can begin. But often, people simply want to start working.
AI Did Not Know Enough
AI can only work with the information available to it.
What was missing was a way to make relevant knowledge available over time—without constantly rebuilding the context from scratch.
Users Needed to Remain in Control of Their Datatzer gehören
We did not want to create a system that locked documents and knowledge inside a closed platform.
Users should always remain in control of their own data.
AIS was not created because we wanted to build another AI application.
It was created because we were no longer willing to accept these problems as an unavoidable part of working with AI
